Ingredients
- Filing:
- 1 ½ cup flour
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ cup shortening
- 1 egg, beaten
- ½ cup milk
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup walnuts OR pecans
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp butter

Preparation
Step 1
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together.
Cut in shortening, until mixture resembles crumbs.
Add egg equivalent and milk.
Mix well.
Melt butter.
In separate bowl, mix together brown sugar, pecans, flour, cinnamon, and melted butter.
Place 1 Tbsp of batter in bottom of muffin pan. Then layer filling, with another Tbsp of batter on top.
Cook at 375°F for 25 minutes.
