Ingredients
- 3 lbs ground round
- 1 lb hot sausage, if desired
- 3 onions, chopped fine
- 1/2 bell pepper, chopped fine
- tomatoes ~ sauce, approx 1 large & 1 small
- paste, 1 large
- whole or pureed, 3 cans
- garlic, salt, oregano, red & black pepper, parsley, basil and LOTS of chilli powder
- 3 cans red kidney beans

Preparation
Step 1
Brown meat, onions, pepper and garlic clove
Add tomatoes, either sauce, paste or whole to which spices have been added.
Cook without lid.
Last hour of cooking add kidney beans ( I usually only use 1 can).
Can serve over rice, then top with grated sharp cheese
