Pecan Chews

Ingredients

• 1.5 cup butter
• 4.5 cups brown sugar
• 6 eggs
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1.5 teaspoon baking soda
• 1.5 tablespoon vanilla
• 3 cups pecan, finely chopped
• 6 cups flour

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter and add sugar. Mix well and let cool. Add beaten eggs and mix. Add salt, baking soda, vanilla and nuts. Mix well. Add flour and mix until flour is thoroughly distributed. Form dough into balls. Bake at 350F for 10-12 minutes. Let cookies set up then remove to wire racks.
