Ingredients
- CRUST: FILLING:
- 1 1/2 cup flour 7-8 medium apples (use good ones, like Cortland, etc.)
- 1 1/2 tsp sugar 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp milk 1/4 cup butter + 2 Tbsp
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Step 1
CRUST: Mix together flour and sugar in pie pan, then mix, 1/2 cup vegetable oil (or canola) and 2 Tbsp milk together in a measuring cup, pour into dry ingredients in pie pan. Mix together with a fork until combined, then press the mixture round the pie pan to form the crust.
FILLING: Peel and slice into a large mixing bowl 7-8 medium apples. Mix together 3/4 cup sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon and mix into sliced apples, put into pie crust and dot top of apples with 1/4 cup butter. Then melt 2 Tbsp butter, mix it into 3/4 cup flour, and 1/4 cup sugar until crumbly, sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350 for 55-60 minutes or until nice and golden brown and apples are tender.
