Pumpkin Butter and Apple Butter

• Ingredients
• 1 C applesauce (we used 3 large gold rush apples, included the cinnamon)
• 1 C apple cider
• 1/4 tsp ground allspice
• Pumpkin Butter
• Ingredients
• 1 C roasted pumpkin
• 1 C apple juice
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
• 1/4 tsp ground allspice

Preparation

Step 1

Instructions for both recipes

Combine all ingredients together in a food processor until smooth

Pour into warm medium sauce pan over low heat

Cook uncovered and stir occassionally until thickened to your preference (30-90 minutes depending on the wetness of your apples or pumpkin)
