  • 1-1/2 cups crushed chocolate thin bits
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate pieces
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
  • Few dabs of cool whip
  • 1 stick margarine
  • Cooking spray

Preparation

Step 1

Begin by coating a 9" pie pan with cooking spray. Crush the chocolate wafers into fine crumbs and then add the margarine. Firmly pat the mixture into the pan. When ice cream is softened spoon 1 quart into a bowl and mix with chocolate chips. Next pour the mixture into the cookie crust. Freeze until pie is firm.

Just before serving, poke holes into the pie and drizzle chocolate syrup over the top of it. Finally finish the pie off with a few dabs of whipped topping.
