Ingredients
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 medium red onion, 1/4" dice
- 2 medium turnips, 1/4" dice
- 1 tsp rosemary, chopped
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 4 oz piece of prosciutto di parma, 1/4" dice
- salt & pepper to taste
- 8 slices of bread

Preparation
Step 1
In a 12-14" pan, heat oil until smoking. Add onion & turnips and saute until soft and brown (8-10 mins). Remove to a mixing bowl, and while warm, stir in rosemary, vinegar, and prosciutto. Season to taste.
Preheat grill or broiler. Toast bread, spoon mixture over each slice of bread and serve with an extra drizzle of oil.
