Old Fashioned Sour Cream Drops Mum's

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup slft shortening
• 11/2 cups sugar
• 1 cup thick sour cream
• 23/4 cups sifted flour
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1/2 tsp. baking powder
• 1/2 tsp. soda

Preparation

Step 1

Mix thoroughly together the shortening, sugar and eggs. Stir in sour cream and vanilla. Sift together and stir in dry ingredients. Chill at least one hour. drop rounded tsp. about 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. bake until delicately browned just until when touched lightly with fingers almost no imprint remains.
heat oven to 400 F
