Ingredients

  • 1 can (15.5 oz) Great Northern beans
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cans (10.5 oz each) beef broth
  • 2 cans (14.5 oz. each) whole tomatoes
  • 1 cup dry shell past, cook according to package directions
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried marjorm
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1/4 teaspoon liquid hot peper sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil

Combine all ingredients, except pasta in stoneware. Cover and cook on LOW 8 hours (HIGH 4 hours).
