Ingredients
- Filling:
- I cup all-purpose flour I tablespoon water
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- I cup water
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- I cup all-purpose flour 3 eggs
- Y2 teaspoon almond extract
- Frosting:
- 1 c. confectioners' sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, softened
- Y'2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 to 2 tablespoons milk

Step 1
I. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. To• prepare pastry, combine flour, water and butter, cutting in with two knives to form dough similar to a pie crust. Spread and press into a IO-inch tart pan.
3. To prepare filling, combine water and butter in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Add flour; stir until smooth. Stir in eggs, one at a time. beating well after each addition. Add almond extract. Pour over crust. Bake 55 to 60 minutes.
4. To prepare frosting. combine confectioners' sugar. butter and almond flavoring. Add milk, a little at a time, until frosting is a spreading consistency. Spread over baked puff. Serves 12.
