Crock Pot Mac and Cheese
This recipe can also be baked in the oven on 350 for about an hour, covered for 45 minutes.
I know it's a pain to cook the macaroni and make another dish to be washed, but it just doesn't taste right to us uncooked macaroni. You can always cook the pasta in big batches and freeze them in serving sizes so you have the pasta at hand and save a dish.

Ingredients
- 12 oz sharp cheddar, shredded
- 6-12 oz Colby Jack Cheese, depending on your taste
- 12 oz can evaporated milk
- 1 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 16 oz macaroni, cooked (4 c equals a pound)

Step 1
Cook macaroni 7 minutes and drain. Beat eggs in a large bowl, then add other ingredients and mix. Reserve a bit of cheese for the top of the casserole. Grease crock or 9x13 pan with butter and add mix. Cook on low 3-4 hours. Bake casserole in oven at 350, covered, for 45 minutes, then uncover and cook 15 minutes more.
***To make this even more hearty, add a can of chicken or some ground ham to the casserole before baking.
