Ingredients
- 3 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped fine
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 lb. ground beef
- Salt to taste

Step 1
Heat the oil in a large skillet, add the onion, and stir often until the onion is soft. Add the garlic and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes; add the chili powder, beef and salt. Mix and cook, stirring, breaking the meat into tiny bits, until the meat loses its pinkness. With a slotted spoon, leaving the fat behind in the skillet, remove the meat mixture to a bowl. Use about 2 tbsp. per taco or enchilada when filling.
