Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups cooked chopped chicken
  • 1/2 (2 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried dillweed
  • 3 drops hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup pecan halves

Step 1

Combine flour and next 4 ingredients in a bowl, stir in oil. Set aside 1/4 of mixture. Press remaining mixture in bottom and up sides of 9" quiche dish. Prick bottom and sides with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Combine eggs, sour cream, mayonnaise and chicken broth. Stir in chicken, cheddar cheese, onion, dillweed, and hot sauce, pour into prepared crust. Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture over filling, top with pecan halves. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes.
