Ingredients

  • Chocolate Biscotti1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar, plus 1 Tablespoon
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup cocoa nibs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Cream butter and sugar. Then mix in eggs.

3. Mix in the rest of the ingredients.

4. Place dough on greased cookie sheet and form into a 1x4x8 inch log.

5. Bake for 20 minutes. Let cool for 20 minutes.

6. Using a serrated knife, slice into 1/2 inch wide slices. Return slices, cut side down to baking sheet, and bake until firm, about 15 minutes.

7. Let cool completely before removing from the pan.
