Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb Chicken breast
  • green part of spring onion
  • 2 tea ginger, crushed
  • 1 tbl sake
  • 1 1/3 cups green beans
  • 3 tbl mayonnaise
  • 1 tbl milk
  • 1 tea granulated chicken stock
  • salt and pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. To measure the amount of water needed, put the chicken breast in small pan and add just enough cold water to cover, then remove the cicken and bring water to boil. Return the chicken to the pan with the onion, ginger and sake. Simmer until the chicken is cooked. Remove and leave to cool.

2. String the beans and chop in half diagonally. Parboil for a few minutes, taking care not to overcook them. Drain and pat dry.

3. Roughly shred the chicken when it is cool enough to handle.

4. Place the beans and chicken in a bowl. Combine the mayo, milk and chicken stock powder and stir into the beans and chicken. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
