Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chip Cookies

Classic chocolate chip cookies with semi-sweet chocolate chips.

Ingredients

• 2 sticks margarine (1 cup)
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 teaspoon water
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 1/4 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease cooking sheets.
Cream together the margarine, sugar, brown sugar, water and vanilla extract. Mix in the eggs one at a time, beat after each.
Stir in the flour, soda and salt until well blended. Mix in the chocolate chips.

Use a teaspoon to drop the dough onto the prepared sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Allow to stand for 2 minutes before moving to a wire rack
