Preparation

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, beat the 1/2 cup butter and cream cheese with a mixer for 30 seconds. Beat in the 1/3 cup sugar. Add flour and cocoa; beat until well combined. Cover and chill 1 hour or until easy to handle. Divide mixture into 24 balls. Press each ball onto bottom and up sides of an ungreased 1 3/4 inch muffin cup.

In a small heavy saucepan, melt unsweetened chocolate and 2 tbsp butter over low heat. Remove from heat. Stir in the 1/2 cup sugar, egg, vanilla, and liqueur. Divide mixture evenly among the cups.

Bake in a 325F oven about 35 minutes or until set. Cool slightly and remove from pans. Melt chocolate pieces over low heat. Spoon about 1/4 tsp of melted chocolate on center of each cup.
