Cheesecake Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/3 cup butter
• 1/3 cup brown sugar
• 1 cup flour
• 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 8oz. pkg. cream cheese
• 1 egg
• 2 Tbsp. milk
• 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
• 1/2 teasp. vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter with brown sugar. Add flour and walnuts to make a crumb mixture. Reserve 1 Tbsp. for topping
Press remaining mixture into bottom aof 8" square pan.
Bake 12-15 min.
Blend sugar with cream cheese. Add egg, milk, lemon juice and vanilla. Beat well.
Spread over baked crust. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Bake 350 degreee 25 mins. Cool and cut into squares.
