Autumn Almond Butter Fudge

Here is a quick and easy sweet you can whip together with short notice, and serve with afternoon coffee or tea.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup coconut butter
  • 3/4 cup almond butter
  • 1 Tblsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 3 tablespoons organic grade A maple syrup

Preparation

Step 1

Put all ingredients in your double boiler. I use a metal bowl set atop a sauce pan of boiling water. Stir until all ingredients are melted together.
Liberally grease an 8 by 8 glass baking dish with coconut oil and pour in melted ingredients. Stick it in your fridge for at least 3 hours until it is set and firm. Slice into small squares, stick with a serving stick and serve. They MUST remain chilled or they will melt. Serve with coffee or tea for a wonderful Fall afternoon treat.
Keep the squares small and always serve them with tooth picks so the fudge will not melt in your hands.
