Ingredients
- 3 cps flour
- 4 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 2 1/2 tblsp sugar
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp cream of tartar
- 3/4 cp shortening
- 1 tblsp butter
- 1 cp milk
- 1/2 + 1 egg

Preparation
Step 1
1. Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt &
cream of tartar
2. Cut in shortening, milk & eggs. Beat well
3. Fold in remaining milk
4. On a floured board, mix in added flour by folding
in, not kneading
5. Rol 3/4 inch roll, then cut and place on an
ungreased sheet
6. Top with egg wash
7. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes
