PEANUT BUTTER & FUDGE BROWNIES

Ingredients
- Frosting:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup margarine or butter softened
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup peanut butter chips
- 3/4 cup peanut butter
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine softened
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 eggs
- 3 - (3 squares) unsweetened chocolate
- 3 tablespoons margarine or butter
- 2-2/3 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon vanilla
- 4-5 tablespoons water

Step 1
Het oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13" x 9" pan. In large bowl cream 2 cups sugar and 1 cup margarine until light and fluffy. Add 2 teaspoons vanilla and 4 eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup, level off. Gradually add 1-1/2 cups flour, cocoa, baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt to creamed mixture, mix well. Stir in peanut butter chips.
In small bowl cream peanut butter and 1/3 cup margarine. Add 1/3 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons flour, blend well. Add 2 eggs and 3/4 teaspoon vanilla, beat until smooth. Spread half of chocolate mixture in prepared pan. Spread peanut butter mixture over chocolate mixture. Spread remaining chocolate mixture over peanut butter mixture. Gently cut through layers to marble. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until top springs back when lightly touched in center and brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely.
Frosting:
In medium saucepan melt chocolate and 3 tablespoons margarine over low heat stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in powdered sugar, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 3/4 teaspoon vanilla and water until frosting is smooth, spread over brownies.
