Chocolate Chip Cake

Ingredients

• 1 8 oz. cream cheese
• 1 unbeaten egg
• 1/3 cup sugar
• 1/8 teaspoon salt
• 6 oz. chocolate chips
• 1 1/2 cup flour
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/4 cup cocoa
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup water
• 1/2 cup oil
• 1 tablespoon vinegar
• 1 tablespoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Beat top 4 ingredients well & stir in chocolate chips. Set aside.

Sift together next 5 ingredients. Add remaining ingredients. Beat together & pour into greased square pan. Top with cream cheese mixture. Bake at 350* for 50 minutes.

Can also be made as mini cupcakes. Bake for 30 minutes.
