Ingredients
- 2 Cups shredded Mild Brick or Cheddar
- 2 cups finely chopped or grated granny smith apples
- 1 and 1/2 Cups all-purpose flour (3/4 Cup may be wheat)
- 3 Cups Rolled Oats
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 and 1/2 Cup Raisins or dry sour cherries
- 1 and 1/3 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 Teaspoons Vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
2.Combine flour, cinnamon, and baking powder; set aside.
3.Combine shredded cheese, oats and raisins or cherries and set aside.
4.Cream together the butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs until well blended.
5.Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture, stirring well. Stir in cheese mixture and apples.
6.Drop by teaspoons 2 inches apart on ungresed cookie sheets.
7.Bake 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
