Ingredients
- l cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened ,
- 6 - 8 cups confectioner's sugar I used 5 1/2 cups
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1-3 tbs of milk or whipping cream

Preparation
Step 1
place the butter in a large mixing bowl. Add 4 cups of the sugar and then the milk and
vanilla.
With an electric mixer, beat until smooth and creamy, about 3-5 minutes on medium speed.
gradually add the remaining sugar, 1 cup at a time, beating well after each addifion, until
the frosting is a good spreading consistency. Frosting can be stored in an airtight container
at room temperature for up to 3 days.
