• 2 cups sugar
• 1 cup Crisco
• Mix together:
• 3 eggs
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 4-5 cups flour, as needed
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
