- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup eggnog
- 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 tablespoons chocolate chips

Step 1
Butter sides of heavy 3-quart pan. In same pan combine sugar, eggnog, and corn syrup. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves and mixture comes to a boil.
Cook to soft ball (238 degrees), stir occasionally. Immediately remove from heat and cool to 110 degrees without stirring. Add the 2 tablespoons butter and vanilla. Beat vigorously until fudge becomes very thick and starts to lose it's gloss.
Quickly stir in nuts. Spread in buttered 8 x 4 x 2 inch pan. In glass cup measure, combine chocolate chips and butter. Melt in water in saucepan. Ddrizzle over fudge.
