Ingredients
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 salt
- 1/2 cup raisin
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 1 tsp light butter, soften
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 egg whites
- 1 2/3 cup oatmeal

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°. In a medium bowl sift flour and both sugars together. Mix in baking powder, cinnamon and salt. In another bowl, whisk egg whites, vanilla, butter, and applesauce. Mix well. Slowly add flour mixture to egg mixture, stirring well into mixed. Add oats and raisins and blend into mixture. Spoon out 1 tsp amount and place on a greased baking sheet. Flatten cookies a little bit, you add a lot of cookies, because they won't spread much. Bake for 10 minutes. Turn cookies half through cooking time. Let cool on a cooking rack. Yields: 6 dozen (72 cookies) These cookies should be "bite size" cookies.
