Ingredients
- 6 eggs (room temp)
- 3 1/2 c flour
- 1 1/2 c sugar
- 2 T anise extract
- 1 c melted unsalted butter
- 4 tsp baking powder

Preparation
Step 1
Heat pizzelle maker.
Beat eggs and add sugar gradually. Add cooled margarine and anise. Sift flour and baking powder. Blend into egg mixture until smooth.
Dough will be sticky enough to be dropped by spoon. Bake in pizzelle maker until light golden color. Cool on wire rack.
