Ingredients

  • 2 cups vanilla wafers, finely ground
  • 2 cups pecans or walnuts, finely chopped
  • 2 cups sifted powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons bourbon
  • Sifted powdered sugar or granulated sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Combine wafers, nuts, sugar and cocoa powder; mix well.

In a separate bowl, combine corn syrup and bourbon; mix well. Stir in crumb mixture.

Shape into 1-inch balls and roll in powdered sugar or granulated sugar. Store in airtight container.
