Poppy Seed Bread

Makes 2 loaves or 1 large pound cake

Ingredients

• Glaze:
• 3 c self rising flour
• 1 1/2 c milk
• 2 1/4 c sugar
• 3 eggs
• 1 1/2 c oil
• 1 1/2 tsp butter flavoring
• 1 1/2 tsp almond extract
• 1 1/2 tbs poppy seed
• 1/2 tsp butter flavoring
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
• 3/4 c confectioners sugar
• 1/2 tsp almond extract
• 1/4 c orange juice

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all cake ingredients and beat for 2 minutes.
Pour into 2 loaf pans or 1 large tube pan, greased and floured. Pour glaze over bread while still warm and in the pan. Bake at 350* for 50-60 minutes.
