Ingredients
- 1 c water
- 3/4 c light corn syrup
- 1/2 c tomato paste
- 2/3 c vinegar
- 1/3 c dark brown sugar
- 3 T molasses
- 1 1/4 t liquid smoke
- 1 t salt
- 1/4 t onion powder
- 1/4 t black pepper, Ground
- 1/4 t mustard, Ground
- 1/8 t paprika
- 1/8 t garlic powder
- dash cayenne

Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan over high heat and whisk until smooth.
2. Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 45 minutes or until thick.
3. After the sauce cools you can use it immediately, but it's best to store it in a covered container in the refrigerator overnight where the flavour improves.
