Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 C Sugar
  • 1 C. Butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 3/4 Flour
  • 2 tsp Cream of Tartar
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 TBS Cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Beat 1 1/2 C of sugar, butter and eggs with mixer on med. Stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
Shape dough into 1 1/4 in balls, In small bowl mix 1/4 C sugar and cinnamon. Roll balls in cinnamon sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet 2 in apart.
Bake 8-10 mins . Immediately remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack.
