Ingredients
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 1 Tbsp. confectioners' sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 cup butter flavored shortening
- 1/2 cup fresh chives
- 1/3 cup buttermilk
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 425 degrees. Sift together first 5 ingredients. Cut in shortening till coarse crumbs form; add chives. Mix buttermilk, sour cream and 1/3 cup water; stir into dry mixture. Knead 14 times. Roll to 1/2 thickness; cut 2" biscuits. Place on greased pan. Bake 10 minutes. Brush with butter.
