Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 c (2 sticks) margarine or butter, softened
  • 1 3/4 c brown suger
  • 1 T vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 and two thirds c butterscotch chips
  • 1 c nuts

Step 1

Beat butter, brown sugar and vanilla in large mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradualy beat in flour, powder, and salt. Stir in 1 cup chips and nuts. Spread into 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Sprinkle with remaining chips.

Bake 30-40 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
