DESSERTS - Butterscotch Brownies

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 c (2 sticks) margarine or butter, softened
- 1 3/4 c brown suger
- 1 T vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 and two thirds c butterscotch chips
- 1 c nuts

Preparation
Step 1
Beat butter, brown sugar and vanilla in large mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradualy beat in flour, powder, and salt. Stir in 1 cup chips and nuts. Spread into 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Sprinkle with remaining chips.
Bake 30-40 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
