Ingredients

  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 C butter (1 stick) melted and cooled
  • 1 1/2 C sugar
  • 1 TB. flour
  • 2/3 C buttermilk
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp. Pure Lemon Extract
  • 1 tsp. Minced Lemon Peel

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

In mixing bowl, combine the eggs and butter and beat until frothy. Add the sugar and flour and mix. Add the buttermilk, salt, vanilla, lemon extract and minced lemon peel and stir to combine. Pour into a casserole dish and bake at 325 degrees for 10 minutes and then raise the heat to 350 degrees to 50 minutes.
