Ingredients
- 1 jar artichoke hearts, marinated in water (12 oz) drained, patted dry, chopped
- 1/2 cup grated Romano cheese
- 1/3 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 5 tablespoons lowfat mayonnaise
- 16 French baguette slices

Preparation
Step 1
1. Place first 3 ingredients in bowl. Mix in enough mayonnaise to form thick spread.
2. Preheat broiler.
3. Top bread rounds with spread. Arrange on baking sheet.
4. Broil until spread is heated through and begins to brown, about 2 mins.
Notes: added chili pepper seasoning, used very low fat mayo - could also take fat-free I think. And served it as a warm dip with crackers. A huge hit with book club!
