Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1/2 cup uncooked rice
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 can tomato soup

Preparation

Step 1

Mix meat, rice, onion, egg, salt and pepper together and shape into medium sized balls. Brown in a little oil in a frying pan or bake 15 minutes on a cookie sheet. Put balls into a baking dish. Pour tomato soup mixed with 1/2 can or water over the meatballs. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Rice will swell and pop out in tiny spears.
