Ingredients
- 1/4 c butter
- 2 c sifted powdered sugar
- 3 c flaked coconut
- 1/4 c light cream
- 1 c chocolate chips
- 2 tsp shortening or butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla ** ?

Preparation
Step 1
In saucepan, slowly heat butter till golden brown; gradually stir in sugar, coconut and cream. Drop by teaspoonfuls on waxed paper. Refrigerate till easy to handle then shape into peaks. Over hot, not boiling water; melt chocolate chips and shortening/butter; stir until smooth. Dip bottoms of peaks into chocolate then harden on a rack covered with wax paper.
