Ultimate Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients

• 3/4 cup cocoa
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 2/3 cup butter, melted
• 1/2 cup boiling water
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 1/3 cups flour
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Grease 13x9 baking dish. In large bowl stir together cocoa and baking soda. Stir in 1/3 cup butter. Add boiling water stir until mixture thickens. Stir in eggs, sugar and reamining 1/3 cup butter, stir until smooth. Add flour, vanilla and salt. Blend well. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until it begins to pull away from the sides. Cool completely then frost with one-bowl buttercream frosting and cut into squares.
