Apple/Cranberry Bake
8x12 Pryex dish sprayed with Pam
Peel and slice 6 golden tart apples and put into pryex.
Put on top of the apples, 12 oz fresh cranberries
In a mixing bowl,
1 Cup dark sugar, not packed
2 Tbls corn starch
Mix together then add
1 Tbls vanilla extract
melt 2 oz butter and add to mixture
12 oz apricot preserves
Mix Together then pour over apples
sprinkle 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Set pryex on foil in case of cooking over in oven.
Bake 375 for 50/60 minutes.
Can serve hot, warm or cold. Keeps in refridge for 2 weeks
