Glazed Green Beans in Cashew Sauce 1 Picture

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds frozen whole green beans.
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar, do not pack
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic chopped
  • 1/4 cup roasted salted cashews chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Steam frozen beans drain well.

In a large skillet add butter, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar and garlic and pepper. Bring to a boil, stirring until mixture starts to caramelize. Pour sauce over beans and toss gently. When done, garnish with cashews.
