Mom's Meat Ball Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 12-oz pkg medium noodles
- 10 oz can onion soup 284 ml
- 2 cans or bottles spaghetti sauce with mushrooms 14-16 oz 450 ml
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 16 oz carton cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup soft bread crumbs

Preparation
Step 1
Combine beef, bread crumbs.egg.mustard. and salt and pepper. Dissolve bouillon cube in boiling water and add to meat mixture. Mix lightly with a fork until well blended. Combine flour and paprika in a flat dish. Shape the meat mixture into 1-1 1/2 inch meatballs and roll in the flour mixture.
Heat oven to 350. Grease a 1 1/25 qt casserole. Heat oil in heay skillet and add beat balls and brown well on all sides. Cook noodles and drain.
Add onion soup and spaghetti sauce and oregano to browned meat balls and bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
Put a 1/4 layer of the nooldes in the bottom of the casseroles. Add 1/4 of the meat ball mixture and then 1/4 of cottage cheese and sprinkle with parmesan. Repeat layers.
Bake about 30 min at 350
