Ingredients
- suggested toppings:
- 1 tbsp yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 egg - separate and save white
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup soft butter
- 1 cup warm milk
- 5 cups flour
- butter
- parmesan cheese
- salt
- sesame seeds
- cinnamon sugar
- garlic

Preparation
Step 1
Mix yeast and water in small bowl and let sit for a minute. Mix egg yolk, honey, butter, and milk. Beat well and add to yeast and water. Add salt and flour.
Knead on floured board for 5 minutes and let rise for 2 hours.
Preheat oven to 425. Cut into strips, roll out, and make whatever shape you desire.
Beat 1 tsp water with egg white in a small bowl. Brush on pretzels before baking. Bake for 10-15 minutes on a greased baking sheet. Add toppings and enjoy!
