Cinnamon Applesauce Salad

Ingredients

• 4 1/2 cups boiling water
• 10 oz pkg cinnamon candy
• 2 each 6 oz pkgs lemon jello
• 3 cups tart applesauce
• 12 oz cream cheese
• 1 cup each chopped celery, chopped nuts and mayonnaise

Preparation

Step 1

Add candy to boiling water and stir until dissolved. Add jello and stir until dissolved. Add applesauce and mix well. When mixture has begun to set up, pour half into a 9x13 pan. Mix cream cheese with celery, nuts and mayo. Spread over gelatin mixture. Pour remaining gelatin to make the top layer. Refrigerate over night.
