Step 1

Beat egg whites with pinch of salt until stiff. Add 1/2 cup sugar and beat until very stiff. Beat egg yolks in small bowl until lemony. Add 1/2 cup sugar and beat. Add vanilla and lemon juice and beat until thick. Pour yolks over whites and mix at slowest speed until blended. Fold in flour. Pour into tube pan and bake at 325 for 50 - 60 minutes or until done.
