Impossible Taco Pie

Ingredients

• 1 # ground beef
• 1/2 C chopped onion
• 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
• 1 can chopped green chilies, drained
• 2 C milk
• 1 packet (5.5 oz/ 1 1/3 C) Bisquick
• 4 eggs
• 2 tomatoes, sliced
• 1 C shredded Monterey Jack or cheddar cheese (4 oz)

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly grease pie plate. Cook and stir g beef and onion until beef is brown. Drain. Stir in taco seasoning mix. Spread in pie plate; sprinkle with chilies. Beat milk, baking mix and eggs until smooth. Pour on meat mixture. Bake 35 minutes. Top with tomatoes; sprinkle with cheese. Bake until cheese is golden brown and kinfe inserted in center comes out clean, 8-10 minutes longer. Cool 5 minutes. Serve with sour cream, chopped tomatoes and shredded lettuce.
