Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup orzo
- 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz.)
- 1 cup water
- 2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 cup crumbled feta cheese

Step 1
1. Brown ground beef, onion, and garlic in large skillet. Drain well.
2. Add pasta, tomato sauce, water, oregano, cinnamon, salt and pepper; stir to combine, making sure pasta is covered by liquid. Heat to boiling, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer 11-13 mins, stirring frequently, until orzo is tender.
3. Remove from heat, sprinkle with cheese. Cover and let stand 2-4 mins.
Notes: Really very good. Used diced tomatoes instead of tomato sauce and doubled the recipe to freeze half.
