Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 5 Tbsp butter, diced
  • 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • milk, for glazing

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 450 deg.

Mix the dry ingredients. Cut the butter into the dry ingredients until your dough is crumbly. Stir in the chips. Mix the eggs with the buttermilk, and then ad them to the mix. Cut the dough into 12 wedges, then brush with the milk.

Place on a parchment-covered cookie sheet, then bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
