- 1-1/2 cups softened butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

Step 1
Beat 1-1/2 cups softened butter, 1 cup sugar, 3 egg yolks, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1/4 teaspoon salt in large bowl until fluffy. Sift in 3-1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour blending to make a soft dough. Fill pastry bag with star tip. Pipe out dough into 3" lengths onto ungreased large cookie sheets. Bake in moderate oven 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Dip ends in cooled melted semisweet chocolate then in chopped pistachio nuts.
